PCA has excellent dispersion performance for calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate scale in a cool water system. The reason is the introduction of phosphonic group to a carboxylic group. In addition, PCA also has good scale inhibition for barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, and silica scale.
